Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata has announced the engagement of Trainee Dock Pilots on a contractual basis. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, and selection stages for the position.

1. Position:

Engagement of Trainee Dock Pilots on a contractual basis for a period of three years.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must possess 2nd Mate (FG)/Dredge Mate Grade-I or B.Sc Nautical Science or 1st Mate (FG)/Dredge Master Grade-II qualifications.

3. Application Deadline:

Applications must be submitted by November 22, 2025.

4. Selection Process:

Candidates will undergo a Written/Proficiency Test and/or Personal Interview.

5. Remuneration:

During training, Rs. 50,000 per month; after passing examination, Rs. 57,000 per month.
