Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata has announced the engagement of Trainee Dock Pilots on a contractual basis. The notification details eligibility criteria, application process, and terms of engagement.

1. Application Deadline:

Applications must be submitted by April 24, 2025, in hard copy format as per the specified proforma.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be Indian Nationals with qualifications such as 2nd Mate (FG)/Dredge Mate Grade-I or B.Sc Nautical Science.

3. Contract Duration:

The engagement is for a period of three years, with an initial training period of one year.

4. Remuneration:

During training, a stipend of Rs. 50,000 per month is provided, increasing to Rs. 57,000 per month after passing the examination.

5. Selection Process:

Candidates will undergo a Written/Proficiency Test and/or Personal Interview. Details will be communicated in due course.
