Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited (UCSL) has announced vacancies for Diploma Engineering Trainees in Mechanical and Electrical disciplines. The notification details eligibility criteria, application process, selection method, and compensation.

1. Application Period:

The online application window is open from November 19, 2025, to December 18, 2025. Candidates are advised to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.

2. Total Number of Vacancies:

A total of 16 vacancies are available, with 12 for Mechanical and 4 for Electrical disciplines.

3. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must possess a 3-year Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized state board of technical education.

4. Selection Process:

Selection will be based on an online written test comprising objective and descriptive type questions, followed by certificate verification.

5. Compensation:

Selected candidates will receive a stipend of ₹20,000 in the first year and ₹23,000 in the second year. Upon successful completion of training, they will be appointed as Supervisors with a pay scale starting at ₹28,000.
