- 1. Application Period:
- The application window for the UPSC IES/ISS Exam 2024 is open from April 10, 2024, to April 30, 2024. Candidates are encouraged to apply early to secure their preferred exam center.
- 2. Examination Date:
- The examination is scheduled to commence on June 21, 2024, across various centers in India.
- 3. Total Number of Vacancies:
- There are approximately 48 vacancies, with 18 for the Indian Economic Service and 30 for the Indian Statistical Service.
- 4. Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must possess a Post-Graduate Degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics for IES or a Bachelor's Degree with Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics for ISS. Age must be between 21 and 30 years as of August 1, 2024.
- 5. Application Fee:
- An application fee of ₹200 is applicable for General and OBC candidates. SC/ST/PwBD and female candidates are exempted from paying the fee.
