Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) has released an official notification for the recruitment of Ex-Servicemen in the Workmen category. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, selection method, and important dates for the posts of Crane Operator (Diesel) and Staff Car Driver.

1. Application Period:

The online application process for the Workmen recruitment at CSL starts on April 16, 2025, and ends on May 6, 2025. Candidates are advised to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be Ex-Servicemen with specific educational qualifications and experience. For Crane Operator (Diesel), a pass in SSLC and ITI in relevant trades with 5 years of experience is required. For Staff Car Driver, a pass in SSLC and a valid driving license with 3 years of experience is needed.

3. Selection Process:

The selection process includes a Phase I Objective type test and a Phase II Practical Test. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in these tests.

4. Reservation:

The posts are reserved for Ex-Servicemen only. Government of India directives on reservation will apply.

5. Application Fee:

An application fee of ₹400 is applicable for all candidates except those belonging to SC/ST categories, who are exempted from the fee.
