Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) has released an official notification for the recruitment of workmen on a contract basis. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, selection method, and other important information for the posts of Outfit Assistant (Air Conditioner Technician) and Outfit Assistant (Crane Operator).

1. Application Period:

The online application process for the workmen posts at CSL is open from October 13, 2025, to October 29, 2025. Candidates are advised to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.

2. Total Number of Vacancies:

A total of 19 vacancies are available, distributed across different categories for the posts of Outfit Assistant (Air Conditioner Technician) and Outfit Assistant (Crane Operator).

3. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must possess a pass in SSLC and ITI-NTC in relevant trades with a minimum of three years post-qualification experience. Age should not exceed 45 years as of October 29, 2025.

4. Selection Process:

The selection process includes a Phase I Objective type test and a Phase II Practical Test. Candidates must meet the minimum pass marks criteria to qualify.

5. Application Fee:

An application fee of ₹300 is applicable for General and OBC candidates. SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempted from paying the fee.
