The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official notification for the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination 2025. This notification includes details about the application process, eligibility criteria, examination schedule, and selection procedure.

1. Application Period:

The application window for the CAPF (Assistant Commandants) Exam 2025 is open from March 5, 2025, to March 25, 2025. Candidates are encouraged to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.

2. Examination Date:

The written examination for the CAPF (Assistant Commandants) will be conducted on August 3, 2025.

3. Total Number of Vacancies:

A total of 357 vacancies are available across various forces including BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, and SSB.

4. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and be between 20 and 25 years of age as of August 1, 2025. Age relaxations apply for reserved categories.

5. Application Fee:

An application fee of ₹200 is applicable for General and OBC candidates. SC/ST and female candidates are exempted from paying the fee.
