The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued an addendum to the CISF Assistant Commandants (Executive) LDCE 2025 notification, detailing the 'Rounding Off Marks' and 'Tie Breaking Principle' for the examination. This update clarifies how marks will be rounded and the criteria for resolving tie cases.
- 1. Rounding Off Marks:
- Marks obtained by candidates will be rounded off to two decimal places at all stages of the examination, using the standard rounding off principle.
- 2. Tie Breaking Principle:
- In case of a tie in aggregate marks, candidates with higher marks in the written total will be ranked higher. If still tied, marks in 'Paper-I: General Ability & Intelligence and Professional Skill' will be considered. Further ties will be resolved by age, with older candidates ranked higher.
- 3. Discretion of the Commission:
- If a tie persists after applying all tie-breaking principles, it will be resolved at the discretion of the Commission.
