Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port Authority (SMPA) has announced the recruitment for various Class I posts in Haldia Dock Complex and Kolkata Dock System. The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, examination structure, and important dates.

1. Application Period:

The application window for the Class I posts is open from September 15, 2025, to October 24, 2025. Candidates must apply online through the official SMPA website.

2. Examination Centers:

The online examination will be conducted in Kolkata, New Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai. Exact dates will be announced shortly.

3. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must possess the essential qualifications as specified for each post. The minimum age is 18 years, and the maximum age is 30 years as of September 1, 2025.

4. Application Fee:

The application fee is ₹500 for General and OBC candidates. SC/ST/PwBD candidates and regular employees of Major Ports of India are required to pay ₹100.

5. Selection Process:

The selection process includes an online examination followed by document verification and an interview. The final selection will be based on the overall performance in the examination and interview.
