The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued a corrigendum to the notice of the Combined Geo-Scientist Examination 2026, amending the tie-breaking principles in Para 12 (B) (iii) of the original notice dated September 3, 2025.
- 1. Tie-Breaking Principle Amendment:
- The tie-breaking principle in Para 12 (B) (iii) has been revised. Previously, if marks at (i) & (ii) were equal, the younger candidate was ranked higher. Now, the senior candidate in age will be ranked higher.
- 2. Official Notification Date:
- The corrigendum was officially released on October 31, 2025.
- 3. Authority:
- The amendment was issued by Himanshu Kumar, Joint Secretary (Examination), UPSC.
