The application window for the Combined Geo-Scientist Examination 2026 is open from September 3, 2025, to September 23, 2025. Candidates must apply online through the UPSC portal.

2. Preliminary Examination Date:

The Preliminary Examination is scheduled to be held on February 8, 2026, across various centers in India.

3. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must ensure they meet all eligibility conditions, including educational qualifications and age limits, as specified in the notification.

4. Application Fee:

An application fee of ₹200 is applicable for General and OBC candidates. SC/ST/PwBD and female candidates are exempted from paying the fee.

5. New Online Application Portal:
