Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has announced a contractual engagement for Company Secretary Professionals. The engagement is on a fixed-term contract basis for a period of 2 years, extendable up to 5 years based on performance. The notification details eligibility criteria, application process, and selection procedure.

1. Application Period:

The application window for the contractual engagement of CS Professionals is open from August 21, 2023, to September 12, 2023. Candidates are encouraged to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience in company secretariat of any unlisted/listed company.

3. Selection Process:

Selection will be based on an interview. However, a screening test may be conducted if required. The final selection will be based on interview performance.

4. Compensation:

Monthly remuneration in the pay band of Rs. 30,000-3%-1,20,000 with initial basic pay of Rs. 30,000/- plus IDA, HRA, and perks at 35% of basic pay.

5. Reservation and Relaxation:

Reservation and relaxation in age limit for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/EWS/PwBD candidates as per Government of India directives.
