Job Details
IBPS is conducting the Common Recruitment Process (CRP RRBs XIII) for recruitment of Officer (Scale-I, II & III) and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) posts in Regional Rural Banks. As per this corrigendum, the online registration and payment of fees/intimation charges will remain open from 07.06.2024 to 30.06.2024; all other terms and conditions stated in the detailed notification dated 07.06.2024 remain unchanged.

Selection Process
- 1. Office Assistants (Multipurpose):
- Two-tier online exam (Preliminary and Main); provisional allotment based on marks in Main and actual vacancies reported by RRBs.
- 2. Officer Scale I:
- Preliminary and Main online exams followed by Common Interview coordinated by Nodal RRBs with NABARD/IBPS.
- 3. Officer Scale II & III:
- Single online examination followed by Common Interview.
- 4. Weightage and qualifying marks:
- For Officers, Online Examination and Interview weightage is 80:20; Interview is for 100 marks with minimum qualifying marks 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD).
- 5. Normalization and scores:
- Scores normalized using equipercentile method; marks up to two decimals considered; for Office Assistants and Officer Scale I only Main marks are counted for final/shortlisting.
- 6. Cutoff policy:
- Minimum score required in each test; adequate number of candidates up to three times vacancies (Officers) may be called for interview, subject to availability.
Admit Card Details
- 1. Download mode:
- Call letters/Information Handouts to be downloaded from www.ibps.in using Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth; no hard copy sent.
- 2. Preliminary call letter handling (OA & Scale I):
- Preliminary call letter will not be collected; it will be authenticated/stamped at the venue. Bring it with the Main call letter and ID proof copy to the Main exam.
- 3. Scale II & III:
- Submit call letter with stapled photocopy of ID proof after the examination; scribe form to be submitted where applicable.
- 4. Photograph:
- Bring one additional photograph identical to the one pasted on the call letter to each exam.
Reservation Details
- 1. PwBD reservation and suitability:
- Reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (≥40%) as per RPwD Act, 2016; categories include VI (Blindness/Low Vision), HI (Deaf/Hard of Hearing), Locomotor disability including CP/Leprosy cured/Dwarfism/Muscular Dystrophy/Acid attack victims/Spinal conditions, Intellectual disabilities (ASD/SLD/MI), and Multiple Disabilities.
- 2. EWS reservation:
- EWS for families with gross annual income below Rs.8.00 lakh and not owning specified assets; Income & Asset Certificate from competent authority required; vacancies are tentative and subject to GoI directives.
- 3. Age relaxations:
- As per detailed Age section (SC/ST 5 years; OBC 3 years; PwBD 10 years; other categories as specified).
- 4. Scribe/compensatory time:

- 2. Biometric/iris/photo verification:
- Photograph and biometric data may be captured/verified at various stages; refusal or mismatch can lead to cancellation.

- Interviews for Officers Scale I/II/III are coordinated by Nodal RRBs with NABARD and IBPS in consultation with the appropriate authority.

- Preliminary and Main online exams followed by Common Interview coordinated by Nodal RRBs with NABARD/IBPS.
- 3. Officer Scale II & III:
- Single online examination followed by Common Interview.
- 4. Weightage and qualifying marks:
- For Officers, Online Examination and Interview weightage is 80:20; Interview is for 100 marks with minimum qualifying marks 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD).
- 5. Normalization and scores:
- Scores normalized using equipercentile method; marks up to two decimals considered; for Office Assistants and Officer Scale I only Main marks are counted for final/shortlisting.
- 6. Cutoff policy:
- Minimum score required in each test; adequate number of candidates up to three times vacancies (Officers) may be called for interview, subject to availability.

Important Instructions
- 1. Identity verification:
- Carry call letter and original plus photocopy of valid photo ID (PAN/Passport/Permanent DL/Voter ID/Bank passbook with photo/ID by Gazetted Officer or People’s Representative/University ID/Aadhaar/Employee ID/Bar Council ID). Ration Card and Learner’s DL are not valid.
- 2. Biometric/iris/photo verification:
- Photograph and biometric data may be captured/verified at various stages; refusal or mismatch can lead to cancellation.
- 3. Items not allowed:
- Textual material, calculators, communication devices, watches, metallic items, eatables etc. are prohibited in the exam centre.
Interview Details
- 1. Coordination:
- Interviews for Officers Scale I/II/III are coordinated by Nodal RRBs with NABARD and IBPS in consultation with the appropriate authority.
- 2. Marks and qualifying:
- Total interview marks 100; minimum qualifying 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD).
- 3. Weightage:
- Online Examination and Interview weightage is 80:20 for Officers.
Training Details
- 1. PET eligibility:
- PET may be arranged for SC/ST/OBC/Minority Communities/ESM/PwBD (Office Assistants) and SC/ST/OBC/Minority Communities (Officer Scale‑I).
- 2. PET schedule and centres:
- PET from 22.07.2024 to 27.07.2024; tentative centres include Warangal, Anantapur, Naharlagun (Papumpare), Guwahati, Ajmer, Raebareli, Guntur, Raipur, Gandhinagar, Srinagar, Lucknow, Mandi, Jammu, Ranchi, Dharwad, Varanasi, Malappuram, Patna, Imphal, Jodhpur, Shillong, Aizawl, Kohima, Indore, Bhubaneswar, Salem, Howrah, Moradabad, Puducherry, Ludhiana, Gorakhpur, Rohtak, Rajkot, Hyderabad, Agartala, Muzaffarpur, Dehradun, Nagpur.
Disqualification Criteria
- 1. Misconduct/unfair means:
- Use of unfair means, impersonation, misconduct, tampering, obstructing the exam, or false information can lead to criminal prosecution, disqualification, debarment from IBPS exams, or termination if already employed.
- 2. Public Examinations Act, 2024:
- Unfair means are punishable under ‘The Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024’; offences are cognizable, non‑bailable and non‑compoundable.
Other Information
- 1. Provisional allotment:
- Restricted within the opted State for Officers Scale I and Office Assistants; subject to identity verification and meeting RRB criteria.
- 2. Score usage:
- For Office Assistants and Officer Scale I, only Main exam marks are considered for final merit/shortlisting; for Officer Scale II & III, Single exam marks are considered along with interview.
