Job Details

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will conduct CRP RRBs XV for recruitment of Group “A” Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B” Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Banks. The process includes Preliminary online examinations (Officers/Office Assistants), Main/Single examinations, and interviews for Officers, with PET prior to exams as per the published tentative schedule.

  • Experience: One year (in the relevant field).

5. Officer Scale-II Specialist (Chartered Accountant)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Education: Certified Associate from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
  • Experience: One year as a Chartered Accountant.

6. Officer Scale-II Specialist (Law Officer)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Education: Degree in Law or equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
  • Experience: Two years as an advocate or as Law Officer in Banks/Financial Institutions for not less than two years.

7. Officer Scale-II Specialist (Treasury Manager)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Education: Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance from a recognized university/institution.

8. Officer Scale-II Specialist (Marketing Officer)

Cut Off Marks

1. Cut-off policy:
Minimum qualifying scores in each test are required; for Officers Scale I/II/III, candidates up to three times the declared vacancies may be called for interview; overall merit is considered for interview/provisional allotment.

How to Apply

Apply online only via the IBPS website; separate applications and fees are required for each post applied.
2. Window:
01.09.2026 to 27.09.2026 for registration and fee payment; 2-day edit window after closure (dates to be notified).
3. Registration:
Use ‘CRP for RRBs’ → appropriate post link; obtain provisional registration number and password; use SAVE & NEXT to review before final submit.
4. Uploads:
Upload photograph, signature, left thumb impression, hand-written declaration, SSC/SSLC/10th certificate, and (as applicable) UDID/Certificate under Clause J(ix) and certificate under Clause J(x); live photo capture via webcam/mobile required.
5. Payment:
Complete online payment through integrated payment gateway; print e-receipt and application form after successful transaction.

Reasoning (40 Q, 40 M, 25 min) and Numerical Ability (40 Q, 40 M, 20 min); total 80 Q, 80 M, 45 min; candidates must qualify in both tests.
2. Preliminary – Officer Scale-I:
Reasoning (40 Q, 40 M, 25 min) and Quantitative Aptitude (40 Q, 40 M, 20 min); total 80 Q, 80 M, 45 min; qualifying in both tests required.
3. Main – Office Assistants (Multipurpose):
Reasoning 40 Q/50 M/30 min; Computer Knowledge 40 Q/20 M/15 min; General Awareness 40 Q/40 M/15 min; English Language 40 Q/40 M/30 min OR Hindi Language 40 Q/40 M/30 min; Numerical Ability 40 Q/50 M/30 min; total 200 Q/200 M/120 min.

8. Negative marking:
Penalty of 0.25 of the marks assigned to a question for each wrong answer in Preliminary, Main and Single examinations.
9. Scores and normalization:
Scores in different sessions will be normalized using equi-percentile method; two-decimal precision used.
10. Medium of tests:
Medium versions per State/UT are listed (e.g., English/Hindi and relevant regional languages). At any point, IBPS may modify the structure/duration and will intimate via www.ibps.in.

Selection Process

1. Office Assistants (Multipurpose):
Two-tier online exam (Preliminary and Main); provisional allotment based on Main exam marks and reported vacancies.
2. Officer Scale-I:
Two-tier online exam (Preliminary and Main); shortlisted candidates from Main will be called for a Common Interview.
3. Officer Scale-II & III:
Single level online examination followed by Common Interview for shortlisted candidates.
4. Interview weightage (Officers):
Online Exam and Interview weightage is 80:20; interview is of 100 marks with minimum 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD).
5. Shortlisting for interview:
Adequate number of candidates in each category, not exceeding three times the declared vacancies (subject to availability), will be called for interview.

Admit Card Details

1. Call letters:
Call letters for examinations and interview must be downloaded from www.ibps.in using Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth; no hard copies will be sent.
2. Prelims call letter handling:
Prelims call letter will not be collected; it will be authenticated/stamped at the centre and must be retained and produced with the Main exam call letter.
3. Scribe form:
Where applicable, scribe form is collected during Preliminary exam; details of scribe to be submitted through an online link with requisite certificate uploads.

Reservation Details

1. PwBD reservation/suitability:
Reservation and suitability of posts for PwBD as per RPwD Act, 2016; detailed functional requirements per post are listed. UDID/Disability certificates may be authenticated and re-verified; fraudulent certificates attract action under Sections 89 and 91 of RPwD Act.
2. EWS:
EWS candidates must produce Income & Asset Certificate in prescribed format; property/income thresholds and family definition as per GOI guidelines; vacancies are tentative and subject to GOI directives/outcome of litigation.
3. Ex-Servicemen:
Definitions and concessions per GOI; OA post has ESM/DESM provisions; Officers posts include 5-year relaxation for ECOs/SSCOs subject to conditions; specific proforma A-D are annexed.
4. Age relaxations:
SC/ST 5 yrs; OBC(NCL) 3 yrs; PwBD 10 yrs; ESM/DESM as per rules; Widows/Divorced women (OA) up to 35/38/40 years for GEN/EWS/OBC/SC/ST respectively.

Document Requirements

1. At interview/document verification/joining:
Valid interview call letter; system-generated application printout; proof of DOB; photo ID; graduation/qualification certificates with proof of result declared on or before 21.09.2026; experience certificates (as applicable).
2. Category certificates:
SC/ST/OBC(NCL) in prescribed format; OBC(NCL) with non-creamy layer clause issued on/after 01.04.2026; EWS certificate as specified; PwBD/UDID certificate from competent Medical Board; scribe-related certificates where applicable.
3. Ex-Servicemen:
Service/Discharge book, PPO, proof of rank; Proforma A/B/C/D as applicable; release letter and self-declaration at joining (as applicable).
4. NOC:
Original No Objection Certificate for candidates serving in Government/quasi-govt/PSUs/Nationalised Banks/Financial Institutions.
5. Uploads during application:
Photo, signature, left thumb impression, hand-written declaration, SSC/SSLC/10th certificate, and applicable disability/scribe documents as per Annexure III.

Important Instructions

1. Single post selection in Officers cadre:
Apply for only one Officers’ post (Scale-I or Scale-II or Scale-III); multiple applications for Officers’ cadre will be rejected.
2. Photograph and additional photo:
Carry call letter with the same photograph as uploaded and one additional photograph to the exam venue; without these, entry may be denied.
3. Aadhaar verification:
Online Aadhaar verification of candidates/scribes may be conducted at different stages.
4. Biometric verification:
Biometric data and photograph may be captured/verified at multiple stages; refusal or mismatch may lead to cancellation of candidature.
5. Unfair means:
Use of unfair means/misconduct leads to cancellation, debarment and possible criminal prosecution; Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024 applies.

Interview Details

1. Centres and intimation:
Interview centres, venue address, date and time will be mentioned in the call letter; requests for change will not be entertained.
2. Marks and qualifying:
Interview carries 100 marks; minimum qualifying 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD). Final scores are based on Main/Single exam and interview (80:20).

Disqualification Criteria

1. Misconduct/Unfair means:
Impersonation, use of unfair means, tampering with documents/answer sheets or systems, obstructing exam, or violating security norms will invite cancellation, debarment and legal action.
2. Debarred list:
IBPS reserves the right to share lists of debarred candidates/scribes with other recruiting agencies.

Other Information

1. Validity of CRP RRBs XV:
CRP validity automatically expires one year after the date of Provisional Allotment or until a fresh provisional allotment is made, whichever is earlier.
2. Participating RRBs:
List of participating Regional Rural Banks with desired local language proficiency is provided in Table A.
