The Defence Scientific Information & Documentation Centre (DESIDOC) under DRDO has announced a walk-in interview for the position of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Library & Information Science. The interview is scheduled for July 22, 2025, at DESIDOC, Delhi. Eligible candidates must send their willingness to attend via email by July 5, 2025.

1. Interview Date and Venue:

The walk-in interview will be held on July 22, 2025, at 0900hrs at DESIDOC, Metcalfe House, Civil Lines, Delhi – 110 054.

2. Application Deadline:

Candidates must send their willingness to attend the interview via email to hrd.desidoc@gov.in by July 5, 2025.

3. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have a B.Sc (First Class) and M.L.I.Sc (First Class) from a UGC recognized University and be UGC-NET qualified. Expertise in digital library concepts and bibliographic database creation is required.

4. Stipend and Benefits:

The JRF will receive a stipend of Rs.37,000/- per month plus HRA as per DRDO rules. Medical facilities are available for self through MI Room facility on campus.

5. Age Limit:

The upper age limit is 28 years as of the interview date, with relaxations of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
