The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official notification for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (II), 2025. This examination is a gateway for candidates aspiring to join the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 156th Course and the 118th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). 1. Application Period:

The application window for the NDA & NA Examination (II), 2025 is open until June 17, 2025. Candidates must apply online through the UPSC portal.

2. Examination Date:

The examination is scheduled to be held on September 14, 2025, across various centers in India.

3. Total Number of Vacancies:

Approximately 406 vacancies are available, distributed across the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Naval Academy.

4. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be unmarried males or females, born between January 2, 2007, and January 1, 2010, and must meet the educational qualifications specified for each wing.

5. Application Fee:

An application fee of ₹100 is applicable for General and OBC candidates. SC/ST and female candidates are exempted from paying the fee.
