For the 2024 cycle, Part I comprised Paper-I (Descriptive) and Paper-II (Computer Based Examination) held on 10.05.2024, followed by Part-II evaluation of record of service (APARs). Final results have been issued for Railway Board Secretariat Clerical Service (Ministry of Railways), Central Administrative Tribunal and LBSNAA; AFHQ and Ministry of External Affairs results will follow. Tie cases have been resolved in order by marks in Paper-I, then Part(a) of Paper-II, then Part-II, and finally by date of birth (older first).

Selection Process

1. Sequence of stages:: Paper-II result declared on 29.06.2024 (528 candidates qualified for Paper-I evaluation for 2024); Paper-I result declared on 08.10.2024 (521 candidates shortlisted for APAR evaluation); final result prepared after Part-II (APAR) evaluation.
2. Tie resolution:: Applied in order: I) Marks in Paper-I; II) Marks in Part(a) of Paper-II; III) Marks obtained in Part-II; IV) Date of birth, with older candidates placed higher.
3. Pending cadres:: Results of AFHQ cadre and Ministry of External Affairs will be declared separately.

Reservation Details

1. PwBD (Railway Board Secretariat Clerical Service):: 03* PwBD within cadre (01-B/LV, 01-OH, 01-MD); interchangeable with other available PwBD categories if the respective category is not available.
2. PwBD among recommended (Railway Board Secretariat Clerical Service):: Includes 02 PwBD (Category-HH) candidates in the select list.
3. UR selection including reserved category (LBSNAA):: Includes 01 SC candidate qualifying at UR standard.
