Job Details
Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) invites applications to fill the post of Advisor for its Regional Office, Delhi on deputation (foreign service terms). The post is in Pay Level‑14 (Rs. 144200–218200) in the 7th CPC Pay Matrix with allowances, with tenure initially for three years or till superannuation, whichever is earlier. Eligible officers are those holding an analogous post; or with four years’ service in Level‑13; or with seventeen years’ regular Group ‘A’ service including seven years in Level‑12, possessing a Bachelor’s degree and fifteen years’ experience in telecommunications/industry/finance/accountancy/law/management/consumer affairs. Maximum age on the last date of receipt of applications in TRAI is 58 years. Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university/institute.
- Experience: 15 years’ experience in telecommunications/industry/finance/accountancy/law/management/consumer affairs.
- Service eligibility: Analogous post; or four years in Level‑13; or 17 years’ Group ‘A’ service including seven years in Level‑12.
Age Limitations:
- Maximum age: 58 years on the last date of receipt of applications in TRAI.
Salary Details
> Salary Range: ₹1,44,200 - ₹2,18,200 Monthly
> Allowances: DA, HRA etc. as per Government rules.

- Pay matrix level: Level-14 in the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.
