Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has announced the recruitment of Trainee Engineers (Electrical) for its subsidiary, POWERGRID Energy Services Limited (PESL). The notification details the eligibility criteria, application process, selection stages, and important dates.

1. Application Period:

The application window for the Trainee Engineer (Electrical) position is open from October 16, 2024, to November 6, 2024. Candidates are encouraged to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.

2. Total Number of Vacancies:

There are 47 vacancies for the Trainee Engineer (Electrical) position, distributed across various categories including UR, EWS, OBC (NCL), SC, ST, and PwBD.

3. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must possess a full-time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electrical discipline with a minimum of 60% marks and a valid GATE 2024 score in the EE paper.

4. Application Fee:

A non-refundable application fee of ₹500 is applicable for General, OBC (NCL), and EWS candidates. SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM/DESM candidates are exempted from paying the fee.

5. Selection Process:

The selection process includes GATE 2024 score, Behavioral Assessment, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview. Candidates must qualify in the Personal Interview to be considered for empanelment.
