POWERGRID Energy Services Limited (PESL) has released a set of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for the Trainee Supervisor (Electrical) recruitment. The FAQs address key aspects of the selection process, job location, compensation package, and more.

1. Selection Process:

The selection process includes a Written Test with 100% weightage through a Computer Based Test and a Trade Test for shortlisted candidates.

2. Qualification Criteria:

Only Full-Time Regular courses from recognized technical boards/institutes are considered. Distance mode qualifications are not accepted.

3. Job Location:

Candidates may be posted at any PESL office, establishment, or unit across India or abroad, as per management discretion.

4. Promotion Channel:

Promotion eligibility varies by level, with specific pay scales and eligibility periods for advancement to the next grade.

5. Compensation Package:

Includes Basic Pay, IDA, HRA, and Perks during training. On regularization, additional benefits like DA, PRP, and terminal benefits are provided.

6. CTC Details:

Approximate CTC per annum on regularization is Rs. 10.60 Lakhs for the Sub Jr. Engr (S0) post.

7. Written Test Date:

The date for the Written Test will be notified on the POWERGRID website. Candidates should regularly check the site for updates.
