The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced modifications to the One-Time Registration (OTR) process for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025. Candidates can now edit certain fields in their OTR profile until the final submission of the application and during the correction window.
- 1. Editable Fields:
- Candidates can edit fields such as name change status, gender, minority status, and Class 10th Board Examination Roll No. until the final submission of the application.
- 2. Non-Editable Fields:
- Fields such as Name (as per Class X), Date of Birth, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Mobile Number, and Email ID cannot be changed in the OTR profile.
- 3. Assistance for PwBD Candidates:
- PwBD candidates wishing to use their own scribe for the CS(Prelims) must provide scribe details during the application process.
- 4. Document Submission for Name Change:
- Candidates with a name change must submit a Gazette Notification. If unavailable, they can upload it after the CS(Prelim) results.
- 5. Correction Window:
- A one-week correction window will be available after the application closing date, except for non-editable fields.
