The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued an addendum to the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2025 notification. This addendum includes the inclusion of the Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) in the ESE 2025 and reschedules the application and correction windows.
- 1. Inclusion of IRMS:
- The Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) with its sub-cadres of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Signal & Telecom, and Stores has been included in the ESE 2025.
- 2. Revised Application Window:
- The new application window is from October 18, 2024, to November 22, 2024, allowing new applicants and existing ones to make changes.
- 3. Correction Window:
- The correction/edit window for all candidates will be open from November 23, 2024, to November 29, 2024.
- 4. Age Concession for Railway Service:
- The period of apprenticeship followed by appointment against a working post on the Railways may be treated as Railway Service for the purpose of age concession.
- 5. Vacancies:
- Approximately 457 vacancies are expected, including 22 for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).
