The UPSC has released detailed instructions for the Civil Engineering examination under the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2025. Candidates are advised to follow the guidelines strictly to ensure a smooth examination process.
- 1. Exam Duration:
- The Civil Engineering exam will be conducted over a duration of three hours, with a maximum score of 300 marks.
- 2. Test Booklet Instructions:
- Candidates must ensure their test booklet is complete and without any missing pages. Any discrepancies should be reported immediately for a replacement.
- 3. OMR Sheet Guidelines:
- Candidates must carefully fill in their Roll Number and Test Booklet Series on the OMR sheet. Any errors may lead to disqualification.
- 4. Penalty for Wrong Answers:
- A penalty of one-third of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Multiple answers for a single question will also be penalized.
- 5. Answer Sheet Submission:
- Only the OMR Answer Sheet should be submitted to the invigilator. Candidates are allowed to take the Test Booklet with them after the exam.
