Job Details
The post of Scheme Officer is to be filled by composite method (Promotion/Deputation including short term contract). Duties listed include: monitoring ongoing Plan/Non‑Plan schemes of the Plant Protection Division; preparation of budget estimates; evaluation of schemes and preparation of up‑to‑date progress reports; performance budgeting; and formulation and processing of proposals for new Plant Protection schemes after approval. Pay will be regulated as per DoP&T O.M. No. 6/8/2009‑Estt.(Pay‑II) dated 17/06/2010. Period of deputation ordinarily shall not exceed three years.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Composite method: Promotion or Deputation (including short term contract).
- Service eligibility: Analogous posts; or 5 years’ regular service in PB‑2 Rs. 9300–34800 with GP Rs. 4200 (or equivalent).
- Essential qualification: B.Sc. (Agriculture) with 3 years’ plant protection experience handling insecticides; OR Master’s in Agricultural Chemistry/Entomology/Plant Pathology/Weed Science/Nematology with 1 year experience.
Age Limitations:
- Maximum age for deputation: 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
Additional Information
- Period of deputation: Ordinarily not to exceed three years.
Salary Details
> Salary Range: ₹44,900 - ₹1,42,400 Monthly
