The officer will serve as Secretary to the Board of Trustees (SPFO), convene Board meetings and implement Board decisions; act as Inquiry Officer with judicial/quasi-judicial functions under Sections 9, 10 and 18 of the Seamen’s Provident Fund Act, 1966; manage and maintain provident fund accounts, claims, grievances of seamen members; and function as the Chief Executive Officer of SPFO. The post is in Pay Level-12 (Rs. 78,800–2,09,200) with deputation tenure ordinarily up to four years and an upper age limit of 56 years for deputation.
