Job Details
LPAI seeks officers on deputation (Foreign Service), including short-term contract, for its Secretariat and various Integrated Check Posts (ICPs). Roles span administration, vigilance, secretarial support, and engineering, and, for ICPs, port administration and operations. Eligibility, experience fields (e.g., administration, HR, finance, vigilance, transport/logistics, civil/electrical engineering), and pay levels are as stated against each post in the circular and Annexure-A. Deputation will initially be three years for Port Executive and five years for other posts, governed by DoP&T O.M. No. 6/8/2009-Estt.(Pay II) dated 17.06.2010 and subsequent amendments.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Deputation: Analogous post; or 5 years’ regular service in Level-12; or 10 years’ regular service in Level-11; with Bachelor’s degree and three years’ experience including handling vigilance-related matters as per Annexure-A.
Age Limitations:
- Maximum age (deputation): 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications.
2. Under Secretary
Eligibility Criteria:
- Deputation: Analogous post; or 5 years’ service in Level-10; or 8 years’ service in Level-8; experience in planning & development, administration, HR, financial management, law/court cases and communication-related matters (Annexure-A).
Age Limitations:
- Maximum age (deputation): 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications.
3. Assistant Engineer (Civil)
Eligibility Criteria:
- Deputation: Analogous post; or 5 years’ regular service in Level-6; with three years’ experience in civil/electrical engineering and monitoring construction activities in Government organisations.
Age Limitations:
- Maximum age (deputation): 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications.
4. Private Secretary
Eligibility Criteria:
- Deputation: Analogous post; or 5 years’ regular service in Level-6; with five years’ experience of working as Private Secretary in Central/State/UT/Statutory/Autonomous bodies.
Age Limitations:
- Maximum age (deputation): 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications.
5. Assistant
Eligibility Criteria:
- Deputation: Analogous post; or 6 years’ regular service in Level-5; with three years’ experience in administration, human resource development or finance in Government/Autonomous/Statutory bodies.

6. Junior Engineer (Civil)
Eligibility Criteria:
- Deputation: Analogous post; or 5 years’ regular service in Level-5 (PWD/equivalent); with three years’ experience in civil engineering and monitoring of construction works in Government organisations.

- Maximum age (deputation): 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications.
7. Junior Engineer (Electrical)
Eligibility Criteria:
- Deputation: Analogous post; or 5 years’ regular service in Level-5; with three years’ experience in electrical engineering and monitoring of works in Government organisations.

- Maximum age (deputation): 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications.
8. Personal Assistant
Eligibility Criteria:
- Deputation: Analogous post; or 6 years’ regular service in Level-5; or 10 years’ regular service as Stenographer Grade-D in Level-4; with five years’ experience in secretarial practices, office management, effective communication, public dealing and related matters.
Age Limitations:
- Maximum age (deputation): 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications.
9. Chief Port Administrator
Eligibility Criteria:
- Deputation: Analogous post; or 5 years’ regular service in Level-12; or 10 years’ regular service in Level-11; Bachelor’s degree with three years’ experience in operations/business administration/transport/logistics/security/industry/commerce.

10. Port Administrator
Eligibility Criteria:
- Deputation: Analogous post; or 5 years’ regular service in Level-10; or 8 years’ regular service in Level-8; experience in management, planning and development, administration, HR, finance, law/court cases and communication-related matters; desirable: Master’s degree in Management.

- Maximum age (deputation): 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications.
11. Port Executive
Eligibility Criteria:
- Deputation/Short-term contract: Analogous post; or 6 years’ regular service in Level-5; or 10 years’ regular service in Level-4; Bachelor’s degree and two years’ experience in operations/administration/HR/communication/transport/logistics/planning/project execution/warehousing/traffic regulation/passenger facilitation/security/industry or commerce.
