The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced that applications for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2024, have been rejected for 34 candidates due to non-payment of the application fee. Candidates have the opportunity to appeal against this rejection by submitting valid documentary evidence by April 15, 2024.
- 1. Reason for Rejection:
- Applications have been rejected due to non-receipt of the application fee of Rs. 100/- from the bank authorities for the listed candidates.
- 2. Appeal Process:
- Candidates can appeal against the rejection by submitting the original system-generated challan or authenticated bank statement as proof of payment by April 15, 2024.
- 3. Submission Method:
- Appeals must be submitted by speed post or by hand to Smt Kiran K. Arora, Under Secretary (CSP), UPSC Examination Hall Building, Hall No.2, 4th floor, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069.
- 4. Deadline for Appeal:
- The last date to submit the appeal with valid documentary evidence is April 15, 2024.
