- 1. Application Period:
- The application window for the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2024 is open from February 14, 2024, to March 5, 2024. Candidates are encouraged to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.
- 2. Preliminary Examination Date:
- The Preliminary Examination will be conducted on May 26, 2024, across multiple exam centers nationwide.
- 3. Total Number of Vacancies:
- The estimated number of vacancies available for 2024 is approximately 1,056, distributed across various central and all-India services.
- 4. Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must possess a graduate degree from a recognized university and be between 21 and 32 years of age as of August 1, 2024. Age relaxations apply for reserved categories.
- 5. Application Fee:
- An application fee of ₹100 is applicable for General and OBC candidates. SC/ST/PwBD and female candidates are exempted from paying the fee.
