The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced a change of exam centre option for candidates who have opted for the Imphal Centre for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2024. This decision follows a directive from the Hon’ble Delhi High Court. Candidates can choose from 80 notified centres across the country.
- 1. Centre Change Option:
- Candidates who selected Imphal as their exam centre can now opt for any of the 80 notified centres across India. This option is available from April 8, 2024, to April 19, 2024.
- 2. How to Change Centre:
- Candidates can change their exam centre through the UPSC website, by calling the toll-free helpline number 1800118711, or by sending an email to uscsp-upsc@nic.in during the specified period.
- 3. Notification to Candidates:
- E-mail and SMS notifications will be sent to all candidates who opted for the Imphal Centre, informing them about the centre change option.
- 4. e-Admit Card Availability:
- The e-Admit Cards for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2024, will be available for download approximately one week before the exam date.
