This notice provides the BPSC ‘Ghoshna Patra’ to be used by candidates of the Preliminary Competitive Examination whose e–admit card image of photo or signature is unclear. The candidate must fill Registration No., Roll/Sequence No., Father’s/Husband’s name, Advertisement No. and Post name, paste a photograph attested by a Gazetted Officer, and sign in Hindi and English. The declaration affirms that the photo/signatures are the candidate’s and that all particulars furnished in the online application are correct; any false claim will lead to cancellation of the application and legal/disciplinary action, and the candidate agrees to comply with all BPSC rules/decisions.

How to Apply

1. Download OMR Sheet:
Login at https://bpsconline.bihar.gov.in/candidate/login → Dashboard → download your OMR Sheet (answer sheet) between 06.08.2026 and 12.08.2026.
2. File objection (if any):
Email the objection regarding the downloaded OMR Sheet to examcontroller-bpsc@gov.in by 12.08.2026.
3. Mode restriction:
Objections through any mode other than the specified email will not be considered.
4. Submit answer–key objections:
Use Username and Password to log in to the Dashboard and upload objections with authentic proof/source from 14.07.2026 to 18.07.2026.
5. Mode restriction (answer key):
Objections to official answers must be submitted only through the Dashboard within the given dates; other modes will not be entertained.

Exam Pattern

1. Exam type:
Preliminary (objective/multiple-choice).
2. Paper/session:
Single sitting; subject: General Studies.
3. Options per question:
Five options (A, B, C, D and E).
4. 'E' option meaning:
'E' stands for 'Not Attempted'; choose 'E' if you do not wish to answer a question.
5. Negative marking:
If no option is chosen for a question, 1/3 mark will be deducted (negative marking).
6. Question paper sets:
Final answer key released for Sets A, B, C and D.
7. Question numbering:
Answer key covers Q. No. 1 to 150.
8. Deleted questions (final key):
Q. Nos. 57, 61, 65 and 69 marked as ‘Delete’.

Admit Card Details

1. When required:
Use this declaration if the e–admit card contains an unclear/illegible/distorted photo or signature.
2. Photo attestation:
Affix a photograph authenticated by a Gazetted Officer in the specified box.
3. Candidate signatures:
Sign in both Hindi and English in the spaces provided.
4. Fields to mention:
Provide Registration No., Roll/Sequence No., Father’s/Husband’s Name, Advertisement No. and Post Name.
5. Download schedule:
e–Admit Card download starts from 28.06.2026.
6. Download portal and path:
https://bpsconline.bihar.gov.in/candidate/login → My Account → relevant advertisement → View → e–Admit Card → View/Download.
7. Centre details:
From 02.07.2026, view/download exam centre details via the ‘Admit Card Exam Center’ button on the Dashboard.
8. Print quality check:
Ensure the e–Admit Card shows the Roll No. with Bar–Code clearly printed.
9. Extra copy:
Carry one additional printout of the e–Admit Card to the examination centre.
10. Dispatch:
Admit cards will not be sent by post; download and print from the portal.
11. Exam city:
The examination will be conducted at centres in Patna city.
12. Two colour photos (attested):
Bring two colour photographs attested by a Gazetted Officer; paste one on the e–Admit Card and submit the second with the office copy at the centre before the Centre Superintendent.
13. Carry ID as in application:
Bring the same photo ID as mentioned in the online application (e.g., Aadhaar/PAN/Driving Licence).
14. Entry after verification:
Entry to the exam is permitted only after the Centre Superintendent verifies and matches documents and photographs.
15. Declaration form source:
Declaration (Ghoshna Patra) is available on the Commission website https://bpsc.bihar.gov.in.

Reservation Details

1. Horizontal PwD inclusion:
Among the 1,248 successful candidates, 10 VI, 08 DD, 11 OH and 06 MD candidates are included under horizontal reservation.
2. Freedom fighter quota:
The list includes 20 candidates under the Grandchild of Ex‑Freedom Fighter quota (Bihar State).

Document Requirements

1. Declaration form:
This Ghoshna Patra with a photograph attested by a Gazetted Officer.
2. Signatures:
Candidate’s signatures in Hindi and in English.
3. Affidavit for grievance:
While submitting an exam–malpractice complaint, upload a sworn affidavit; without it the complaint will not be considered.
4. Supporting evidence:
Attach reliable proof with the grievance and clearly state incident details (time, place, persons involved if known).
5. Two colour photographs:
Carry two colour photographs attested by a Gazetted Officer; one to be pasted on the e–Admit Card and the other to be submitted with the office copy at the centre.
6. Identity document:
Bring the same photo ID as recorded in the online application (Aadhaar/PAN/Driving Licence, etc.).
7. For answer–key objection:
Upload authentic proof/source supporting each objection on the dashboard.

Important Instructions

1. Truthfulness:
All particulars, photo and signatures furnished in the online application are declared to be true and correct.
2. Consequences of falsehood:
Any false/incorrect declaration or mismatched photo/signature will lead to cancellation of the application and legal/disciplinary action, without objection.
3. Compliance:
The candidate agrees to abide by all rules and decisions of the Commission.
4. Reporting time:
Reach the allotted exam centre 2 hours before the exam start time.
5. Gate closing:
Entry to the centre will be permitted only up to 1 hour before the exam begins.
6. No marker/eraser/white fluid:
Use of marker, white fluid, blade or eraser in the exam is prohibited.
7. Electronic items banned:
Calculators, mobile phones, Bluetooth/Wi–Fi gadgets, smart watches, electronic pens etc. are banned in the examination premises; possession/use will be treated as malpractice.
8. Debarment:
Candidates found indulging in malpractice or with electronic items will be debarred from BPSC examinations; duration as per notice and rules.
9. Legal action:
Action will be taken under the Bihar Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024.
10. Exit after exam only:
Candidates must leave the examination hall/premises only after the exam concludes.
11. Official updates only:
Ignore rumours and refer only to the Commission’s official website for information.
12. Entry subject to verification:
Only after the Centre Superintendent matches and verifies the documents and photographs will the candidate be allowed to sit for the examination.
13. OMR availability cut–off:
OMR Sheets not downloaded by 12.08.2026 will not be supplied later by the Commission.
14. Objection mode and deadline (OMR):
Only email objections to examcontroller-bpsc@gov.in up to 12.08.2026 will be considered; later/other–mode objections will be rejected.
15. Answer–key objection rule:
Only objections filed on the dashboard within 14.07.2026 to 18.07.2026 will be considered; none after the due date or by other modes.
16. Biometric authentication (this exam):
For the Auditor Prelims on 05.07.2026, biometric authentication (Digital Fingerprint Capturing & Facial recognition) will not be conducted at exam centres.
17. QR/Bar–code scanning (this exam):
Scanning of the QR/Bar code of the e–Admit Card and OMR Sheet will not be done.
18. Attendance recording (this exam):
Candidates’ physical presence will be recorded with signature by the verifier at the centre.
19. Beware of touts/guarantee claims:
Any claim to ensure success in the exam or to secure appointment is baseless and misleading; do not be influenced by such rumours.
20. Report suspicious activity:
If any information about unfair means or illegal activities is received, immediately inform the Economic Offences Unit (EOU), Cyber Cell, concerned district police and BPSC.
21. Fair conduct of exam:
BPSC conducts examinations with complete transparency and due process.
22. Result list corrigendum clause:
The successful roll number list is subject to correction in case of any printing/scanning errors (मुद्रण/स्कैन त्रुटि).
23. Marks availability:
Marks/scorecards of candidates of this examination will be made available shortly in their Login IDs.
