Job Details
Ministry of Home Affairs (Department of Border Management) invites applications for appointment to the post of Member (Finance) in the Land Ports Authority of India. The post is a whole‑time Member at the level of Joint Secretary to the Government of India and will be filled on deputation or contract basis. Persons in Government service with special knowledge and experience in the field of finance and commerce may apply; on deputation, eligibility includes holding a post equivalent to Joint Secretary (Pay Level‑14) or serving as Director (Pay Level‑13) for not less than four years. Maximum age for appointment on deputation/contract is not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date; tenure is five years or until attaining 60 years of age, whichever is earlier.
