Job Details

The Ministry of Home Affairs proposes to fill up one (01) post of Investigator (Communal Harmony Cell) in Level-6 of the Pay Matrix on deputation (including short term contract) or absorption basis. The duties of the post include collection, compilation and analysis of data relating to servicing the National Level Committee of Communal Harmony; monitoring the implementation of the recommendations of the Committee; collection, compilation and analysis of data relating to activities of religious fundamentalist organizations including field visits; preparation of Cabinet Notes regarding activities of religious fundamentalist organizations and other matters; setting up of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Tribunal; assisting the Tribunal in its sittings at Delhi and outstation with protocol and liaison with State Governments and Union Territories; Gazette notification of orders of the Tribunal and executive orders; administrative and establishment matters pertaining to autonomous organizations; regular updation of the database; and action against Government servants and public sector employees for participation in political and subversive activities of a communal nature. Pay of the selected officer will be regulated in accordance with DoPT O.M. No. 6/8/2009-Estt.(Pay II) dated 17.06.2010 as amended from time to time.
