State Bank of India has released detailed guidelines for candidates with disabilities using scribes for the Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) recruitment. The guidelines cover eligibility, compensatory time, and responsibilities of both candidates and scribes.
- 1. Scribe Eligibility:
- Candidates with physical limitations to write, including speed, are eligible to use a scribe. They must arrange their own scribe at their own cost.
- 2. Compensatory Time:
- Eligible candidates using a scribe will receive 20 minutes of compensatory time per hour of the examination.
- 3. Scribe's Role:
- The scribe must not be a candidate for the same recruitment process and should not independently answer questions during the exam.
- 4. Declaration Requirement:
- Both candidate and scribe must submit a declaration confirming adherence to eligibility criteria and guidelines.
- 5. Consequences of Violation:
- If a scribe is found independently answering questions, the candidate's exam session will be terminated, and their candidature will be cancelled.
