State Bank of India (SBI) has released guidelines for candidates with disabilities using scribes for the Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) recruitment. The notification outlines eligibility, rules, and responsibilities for both candidates and scribes.
- 1. Scribe Eligibility:
- Candidates with physical limitations to write, including speed, are eligible to use a scribe. The scribe must be arranged by the candidate at their own cost.
- 2. Compensatory Time:
- Eligible candidates using a scribe will receive an additional 20 minutes per hour of examination time, provided they have registered for this at the time of application.
- 3. Scribe's Role:
- The scribe must not be a candidate for the same recruitment process. Both the candidate and scribe must sign a declaration confirming adherence to guidelines.
- 4. Disqualification Conditions:
- If the scribe is found independently answering questions, both the candidate and scribe will be disqualified from the recruitment process.
