The State Bank of India (SBI) has issued a corrigendum to the recruitment advertisement for Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales), updating the guidelines for persons with disabilities. The revised guidelines align with the latest directives from the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India.
- 1. Revised Guidelines:
- The guidelines for persons with disabilities have been updated as per the latest directives from the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India.
- 2. Use of Scribe:
- Candidates with disabilities of 40% or more can use a scribe. The scribe's qualification must be two to three academic years below the candidate's qualification.
- 3. Compensatory Time:
- Eligible candidates using a scribe will receive 20 minutes of compensatory time for every hour of the examination.
- 4. Scribe Eligibility:
- The scribe must not be a candidate for the same recruitment process and should only assist one candidate.
- 5. Documentary Evidence:
- Candidates using a scribe must provide documentary evidence of the scribe's educational qualifications and a valid photo ID.
