The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is a statutory authority established under the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016 for developing the policy, procedure and systems for issuing Aadhaar numbers to individuals and performing authentication thereof. By Circular dated 3 February 2026 (Recruitment Notice No. 16/2026), UIDAI invites applications from eligible officers of the Central Government, State/UT Governments, Public Sector Undertakings and Autonomous Organisations for filling up the post of Deputy Director at UIDAI Head Office, New Delhi, on deputation basis on Foreign Service terms. The post carries Pay Matrix Level-11 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (Rs 67,700 - Rs 2,08,700).
